How to Use a Coil Crimp Clasp
Coil
crimps are used for cords and ribbons, choose the right size for the cord you
are using.
Insert
the cord into the coil crimp and with your round nose pliers flatten the last
coil against the cord to secure, test to ensure the cord is held securely,
attach clasps to rings.
When
using multiple strands, glue or knot the strands together first to secure the
inside strands.
To
make your own coil crimps
Make
a 10 row coil with 0.6+ thick wire, take the last coil and turn 90 degrees.
