Learn how to design and make your own unique jewellery

Our jewellery making classes in Ramsgate, Sydney are designed to teach you the professional and secure techniques needed to design and make your own jewellery.

						Please bring any tools you have to the class. BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL. Classes are  2 hours for each technique, with 2 classes running on Saturdays. We recommend that beginners attend  both threading and wire wrapping classes on the same day, with a break for lunch, especially if you have travelled far. Threading Tuition fee $30. Threading class involves stringing up a design on our Griffin jewellery wire and learning how to finish off professionally using crimps and wire guardians. Total cost of the class will depend on what you purchase on the day. Class requires. 2 types of tools; cutters and crimping tool.  Roll of our jewellery wire, a packet of crimps and wire guardians. Beads and clasp you choose for your design. Wire Wrapping Tuition fee $30. Wire wrapping is a bit more technical. You make wire wrap loops to connect your beads together. Total cost of the class will depend on what you purchase on the day. Class requires. 3 types of tools; Flat/Chain nose pliers, round nose pliers and cutters. Packet of hard wire. beads and clasp you choose for your design. 						Bracelet Class  Kit $80 This is a basic beginner class that shows you how to use elastic and memory wire. This is a relaxed, creative, fun class perfect for the novice beader. All materials and beads are included in this class.  See bookings and cancellation policy below
						Tassel Class  Tuition Fee $30 In this class you will make a beaded tassel threaded on silk thread. Total cost of the class will depend on what you purchase on the day. Class requires. 3 types of tools; Flat/Chain nose, round nose pliers and cutters, clear nail polish. You can also need thread cutters, awl and tweezers. Length of hard wire to hang your tassel from. Cap to finish your tassel. Packet of silk thread, we will determine the thickness once you choose the beads. 2-3 strands of fine beads you choose for your design.  See bookings and cancellation policy below
						Earring Design class $100 kit Come and enjoy 2 hours designing and making 5 pairs of STERLING SILVER earrings. We will have all the beads and findings so that you can make your own unique designs or just recreate ours. 5 pairs for $100.00 only $20 per pair. This is an intermediate class that requires wire wrapping skills. All materials and beads are included in this class. Bring your own tools.   See bookings and cancellation policy below
						Broilette class $80 kit Briolette class teaches you different ways of working with briolette beads.This is an intermediate class that requires wire wrapping skills. All materials and beads are included in this class. Bring your own tools.  See bookings and cancellation policy below
						Knotting class: Tuition fee $30 There are many different ways of knotting beads, in this class we choose the Japanese method which is a quick and easy knotting technique. As this is a beginner class, we do not allow using Pearls as the holes are smaller than other beads and are more difficult to learn on. Total cost of the class will depend on what you purchase on the day. Class requires. Clear nail polish, thread cutters, awl and tweezers Packet of silk thread, we will determine the thickness once you choose the beads. 						Multi Strand Class Tuition fee $30  This class is an Intermediate class that combines the threading and wire wrapping techniques together. You must have these skills before booking in for this class. All Day class. Class requires. 4 types of tools; Flat/Chain nose pliers, round nose pliers, cutters and Crimping tool Jewellery wire, hard wire, clasp and crimps Strands of beads you choose for your design.  See bookings and cancellation policy below

Booking and Cancellation policy

Once a class is booked and paid for it is understood that you have read and accepted the following conditions

$30.00 non-refundable class fee PER PERSON, PER CLASS must be paid in advance AND at the time of booking FOR EACH class to reserve a seat. 

Maximum number of students in each class is 3.

You may bring your own tools to the class or buy them from Bead Them Up. We do not allow the borrowing of tools - no tools no class.

Minimum age to attend classes is 16.

Kits can be used in classes.

Kits include all materials required except for tools. If you wish to reserve a kit from our website or showroom prior to attending a class please advise us at the time of your booking, we will not charge for the kit until the day of the class.·       

Classes will start at the following times.
9.30am Morning class
1pm Afternoon class 

If you are unable to attend a class, please call to reschedule. If we do not hear from you or you fail to attend the class, you will forfeit your class fee – no exceptions.
Transferring to another date is only allowed with 48 hours’ notice.
